Wired Flare was back this year at the 2017 Canadian Franchise Association Convention. Once again it was fantastic to connect with so many Canadian franchisors and suppiers and to hear inspiring and informative presentations to support the growtn of Canadian businesses.
This year’s convention was in Niagara Falls at the Sheraton on the Falls. Such a gorgeous hotel, and our experiences there are proof that social media engagement really does work. Go figure?! 🙂
As we often do, we were tweeting about how fantastic the accomdations were there, and we were tagging the hotel in our tweets. Well, as if spreading the word about a great place to stay wasn’t eough, we got back to our room later in the day and found a bottle of wine courtesy of the hotel – their way of saying “thank you” for our social support. So, we had a room with a view and wine to accompany it. Couldn’t ask for much more than that.
This was our 5th year at the annual CFA convention, and this year our focus was on educating franchisors about how we could support them in training their team in their knowledge of online communication with our series of franchise online marketing training programs. Our entire booth was about TRAINing, and we had a lot of fun with it.
We had the opportunity to celebrate success with a number of our clients as well as all the CFA 2017 Award Winners. The awards gala, which was also a celebration of the CFA 50th anniversary, was a great opportunity to dress up and celebrate with so many people we only get to see once a year. Plus, who doesn’t like wearing a sparkly dress every now and then?!
Being a part of the CFA and the Canadian franchsie community has been an important part of our journey. It has allowed us to connect with and serve franchisors in ways that are crucial to their growth and meaningful to us. We have carved a place for ourselves in the industry, and we look forward to growing with it for years to come.
